Shinichiro (SHIN) Nakamura
President
Has been heading Daiwa Steel Tube Industries, or DSTI, since 2003. DSTI was established in Osaka, Japan, in 1932, and Shin is the third president. Under Shin's leadership, the company is transforming human resource management and communication, as well as reorganizing its business infrastructure, introducing new business strategies and restructuring its core systems using state-of-the-art ICT. one to ONE Holdings was established in Singapore in 2016.
Shin is an active member of YPO, the world's largest leadership community of business executives, and is a past president of the MIT Sloan Japan Alumni Association. The Harold E. Lobdell '17 Distinguished Service Award from MIT (2015) was awarded for distinguished service to its alumni association activities.
BA in Economics, Keio University (1994). MBA, MIT Sloan School of Management (1999). Worked for Bain & Company, a leading global strategy consulting firm, and Netyear, one of the successful startups provides Strategic Internet Professional Service (SIPS) in Japan before succeeding DSTI. Father of two children.
