Evolving Purpose
Frederic Laloux argues that, like living organisms, organizations have a purpose that adapts and changes over time. This concept, which he terms as an "evolving purpose", is a key element in understanding how organizations can operate in a more adaptable and responsive way.
In organizations in the most evolved stage, a deep, underlying "why" guides decisions and actions, often connected to a higher goal beyond profit, like contributing to society.
As members of an "Evolving Organization", we deepen our "sense of wholeness" concerning the company and matters occurring within it, as well as the "self-management" inspiring the competence and ability in ourselves and our colleagues to always respond to the "evolving purpose" depending on changes in the environment or organizational policies. This is how we work by thinking independently, sharing with colleagues, and acting together.
